Meridian House is featured in Private Air Luxury Homes Magazine in “The Art of Seeing Better,” a profile of collector and philanthropist Rodney Miller and the residence Specht Novak designed to house his collection of postwar and contemporary art. Written by Regina Russo with photography by Douglas Friedman and Dror Baldinger, the article traces how paintings and sculpture shaped the project from the outset, informing scale, proportion, circulation, and the relationship between interior space and the wooded site. It looks closely at the vaulted central gallery atrium, where clerestory windows draw diffused northern light into the heart of the plan, and at the long-format Roman brick and continuous white frame that establish the building’s restraint, a language developed in reference to the minimalist canons of Donald Judd and Sol LeWitt. Interiors are by Lucas Interiors.
